Canon Cameras Hong Kong Ltd., was extremely generous again in 2010, be becoming the first ever corporate sponsor of The Hummingfish Foundation.  Canon donated $50,000hkd worth of camera equipment to The Hummingfish Foundation as gift prizes for the inaugural Timor-Leste Dive Photo Competition, which Daniel J. Groshong planed and organized in 2010 (Read more about the Timor-Leste Dive Photo Competition).

Canon Cameras Hong Kong Ltd., has been a supporter of the concept behind The Hummingfish Foundation since then became the first official sponsor of the Timor-Leste Land of Discovery book in 2005.

Canon Cameras is an organization that understands the power of photographs better then most.  The executives at Canon Hong Kong understood the concept of “adding value to nature” through the power of visuals instantly, when we first discussed the concept with them some years ago.
